Only after I recorded this and upon a few listens,it became apparent that this record has a real 'struggle within' that seems to begin with the first song 'What Ya Doin' In Here Boy?' Yet it offers a light at the end of the tunnel with 'Jesus,Walk With Me', all the while admitting in the song that "I'm a stumbler through this old world." The inner struggles even show up in the more charcater study songs like 'Ballad Of Robert Burns' and 'Fiddler Jones'. I designed this record to pick up where 'portage' off. However, by the 3rd song the instrumentation starts to be stripped down considerably. Most of my live shows were becoming solo acoustic shows, so I thought this record needed to get more to the heart of that. So as a result, Drifters and Dreamers has a more organic, slightly more raw feel. So I humbly present to you....Drifters and Dreamers. Hope you enjoy it.
